Linda Ravel BA/LLB
Business Manager
Linda completed her Bachelor of Arts/Laws Degree in 1999, and the following year was admitted to practice at the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.
Having worked in the area of Employment Law, Linda is well qualified to assist with the formulation and management of employment contracts, and the application of laws governing the engagement and dismissal of employees. She is also highly familiar with the proceedings of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission, having attended on various occasions, on behalf of both employers and employees. During these attendances, Linda demonstrated her ability to achieve the best outcomes for her clients through effective negotiation and communication.
Linda also has experience as a lawyer in the area of Personal Injury, including Workcover and the TAC. This has provided her with an in-depth understanding of the
relevant laws and procedures arising from work injuries or transport accidents. Since 2003, Linda has worked in accounts management at a large medical clinic as well as in payroll at several companies. Her role not only involved attending to the accounts and debt recovery, but she also provides general legal advice, including the review of employees’ employment contracts. Linda also has substantial knowledge of the Occupational, Health and Safety laws governing work environments and can offer specialized advice regarding injury prevention.
Linda is a highly motivated and organised individual who aims to provide and deliver high quality outcomes.
Joe Van Spaandonk MBA (Melb), BE

Joe established AMSManage, after having over 8 years of broad experience in general practice management with extensive experience prior to this in project and general management. Joe has an in-depth understanding of the problems and opportunities within general practice, along with the technical expertise to effectively conduct practice reviews, make recommendations and implement them.
He has successfully overseen the practice management of a large, 20-practitioner medical group for the past 19 years. Joe’s influential leadership has resulted in improved efficiencies and increased practice profitability, whilst alleviating non-clinical practice demands on the principals. He has provided advisory services to medical practices regarding strategic planning, human resource management, computerisation, software implementation and optimisation, accreditation, business development, financial management and reporting.
He is a former project engineer and has held several management positions with multi-national companies working throughout Europe, South East Asia and America.
Joe’s personable character and communication skills enable him to network successfully with people at all levels, readily gaining their loyalty and respect. This has impacted positively on the retention and performance of clinical and non-clinical staff. He is able to motivate team members to achieve their professional and organisational goals.
Joe holds an MBA from the Melbourne Business School - The University of Melbourne.
